Preparation Activities
Before the Youth Exchange "Feelings Unleashed (FUL)" takes place in Greece, several preparation activities will be organized by all partner organizations. These activities aim to help participants understand the topic of the project, reflect on their own emotions, collaborate with their national teams, and arrive prepared for the learning experience.
The preparation phase will take place between March and July 2026, involving online meetings, creative tasks, research activities, and teamwork among participants from all partner countries.

Personal Poster – "Who Am I?"
Each participant will prepare a personal poster introducing themselves to the group before the Youth Exchange.
The poster will include information such as:
-
Name and country
-
Personal interests and hobbies
-
A description of their personality
-
Their expectations from the project
-
One emotion that represents them and why
Participants are encouraged to express themselves creatively using drawings, photos, colors, or symbols that represent their identity and feelings.
These posters will be shared online before the project and later displayed during the Youth Exchange to help participants get to know each other and build a friendly atmosphere from the beginning.
Research on the Theme of the Project
Participants will conduct small research activities in their local communities related to the theme of the project: emotions and the expression of feelings among young people.
Each national group will discuss and explore questions such as:
-
Why is it sometimes difficult for young people to express their feelings?
-
What role do emotions play in friendships and relationships?
-
How can creative activities such as art, music, theatre, or photography help express emotions?
-
What challenges do young people face regarding emotional communication in today's society?
-
How can we support others who struggle with expressing their feelings?
Participants will collect ideas, experiences, and opinions from their communities and summarize them into key messages that will be presented during the Youth Exchange.
Deadline: 10 of July 2026
National Team Posters – Research Results
Each national team will prepare four posters presenting the results of their research on the theme of the project.
The posters will visually represent the ideas and findings discovered during the preparation phase. Each poster can focus on a different aspect of the theme, for example:
-
Understanding emotions – What emotions do young people experience most often?
-
Barriers to expressing feelings – What makes emotional expression difficult?
-
Creative expression – How can art, theatre, music, and photography help express feelings?
-
Support and empathy – How can young people support each other emotionally?
Participants are encouraged to use creative visual elements such as drawings, symbols, photos, quotes, and colors to make their posters engaging and expressive.
During the Youth Exchange, these posters will be presented and discussed with participants from other countries.
Deadline: 10 of July 2026
Communication and Online Meetings
Before the Youth Exchange, online meetings will be organized to support the preparation process and help participants become familiar with the project.
These meetings will include:
-
Introduction of the project goals and activities
-
Presentation of the preparation tasks
-
Discussion about the theme of emotions and self-expression
-
Questions and answers related to the Youth Exchange
Participants will also communicate through an online group platform, where they can share ideas, preparation materials, and questions before arriving in Greece.
Cultural Preparation
An important part of the Youth Exchange is the Intercultural / Cultural Nights, where participants will have the opportunity to present their culture, traditions, and lifestyle to the rest of the group.
During the preparation phase, each national team will work together to prepare a cultural presentation that represents their country and community. Participants are encouraged to think creatively and include different cultural elements that will help others learn more about their traditions and way of life.
Participants can prepare elements such as:
• traditional music and dances
• cultural games or interactive activities
• short presentations about their country
• traditional costumes or symbols
• interesting cultural facts and traditions

Traditional Dinner – Cultural Night
During the Youth Exchange, each national team will also have the opportunity to organize a Traditional Cultural Dinner.
On their assigned evening, participants will prepare and present traditional food or snacks from their country for all participants of the project. This activity will allow everyone to taste different traditional dishes and learn more about the culinary culture of each country.
Participants should therefore prepare in advance:
• ideas for traditional dishes or snacks they can prepare
• small ingredients or traditional products from their country (if possible)
• information about the food and its cultural importance
The Cultural Nights will create a friendly and interactive atmosphere, encouraging intercultural dialogue, cooperation, and understanding between participants from different countries.
Ingredients up to the 10th of July, 2026
Expected Results of the Preparation Phase
The preparation activities will help participants:
-
Reflect on their own emotions and identity
-
Understand the main theme of the project
-
Develop creativity and teamwork skills
-
Become familiar with participants from other countries
-
Arrive motivated and ready for the Youth Exchange
Through these activities, the project will start building a safe, supportive, and creative learning environment even before the physical mobility begins.
